God's Sweet Surprises-- October Newsletter

October was full of celebrations and cherishing God's love through amazing community.

At the beginning of October, my family and I organized a surprise party for my mom's 50th birthday. It was a perfect day getting to celebrate the person my mom is and how much she has impacted those around her.

The next weekend was spent with good friends and restful adventures in nature. Fall has always been my favorite season, so it was a blessing in disguise to spend the weekend in awe of the perfection of God's artistry. I cannot wait to share the beauty of Budapest next fall!

That same weekend, I celebrated my friend Megan as she started her new journey in marriage. The wedding was beautiful and it was an honor to witness the love between the bride and groom.

At the end of October, I had the privilege to attend the service at Crossing Over Baptist Church. While I was there I was able to share my testimony and how God has called me into overseas missions. God has done some amazing things in my life, and I am honored to have the ability to share Him with others. 

Over the last couple of months, I have participated in a weekly online training through OMS along with several others in the same phase as me. We have been able to connect and stand shoulder to shoulder as God prepares us to enter the mission field. This training will culminate with a full week in-person at the OMS headquarters in Indiana. I have loved getting to know everyone through Zoom and I am so excited to spend this final week together. Please pray that this week is fruitful and that we will all be well prepared to enter into the places and ministries to which God has called us.

• Ability to spend time growing closer to God in nature and recharging before the busy month ahead

Prayer Requests:

• I have another busy month coming up, please pray for stamina while I continue to work to raise the last 34% of my support
• I will be speaking at two churches this month (on the 5th and the 26th). Please pray that those go well and I can make good connections with those I meet.
• Safe travels to Greenwood, Indiana, for a week of training through OMS (November 4^th – 11^th)
• Safe travels to Oklahoma City on November 15th (and back on the 18th) for a Missions conference with OMS
